I just wanted to take a minute and praise your Presidents Luncheon organization. I was invited to attend a meeting in February of this year and met all of the professionals who attended. I think the President's Luncheon is the best format that I have found for networking with decision makers. I have been involved in various networking groups over several years and although I still was receiving some results, I was honestly getting a little bored with the monotony. Then I was invited by Jim Rosas to be a guest at one of SRI's "President's Group" lunches. I was very impressed with the professional yet pleasant tone of these lunches – it really was unique. By the time lunch was over, I had plans to meet with 2 of the attendees, and promised to speak to 2 others.

Soon afterward, I was fortunate enough to be invited to become a seated member of a newly formed group and eagerly accepted. Because the "seated members" get to know each other's business needs, and because the focus isn't merely on the quantity of leads shared, the result seems to be better, more-qualified leads and opportunities.

I highly recommend these lunches to any businessperson that can benefit from forming a community of contacts and resources. Lately, I actually find myself looking forward to these lunches and to the potential relationships that may arise from them.

Sunrise Solutions : Testimonials

Yesterday I attended Sunrise Solutions, a Chicago area networking event run by Steve Fretzin and Jim Rosas of Sales Results, Inc. The sponsors bill the event as "the newest and most exciting hybrid in networking events in the Chicago-land area," and it is.

The event is a stand out because of its unique use of small break-out groups.....These breakout groups gave the participants a chance to listen to one another and establish foundations for possible business or networking relationships at a level that isn't achieved at most networking events. Since the topics were all related to sales, it gave participants a context in which to share experiences and to naturally demonstrate our working styles to each other.....

There were other nuggets that came out of the meeting: approaches to networking events and time management. I found that many of the people there attend as many networking events each week as I attend in a month. Perhaps I should get out more. I'm looking forward to returning to Sunrise Solutions in the future. I hope you’ll consider joining me there.
