Bill Shapcott

VP Business Development & Client Services

With a wealth of experience in high-level intangible sales, operational management, and team development, Bill heads up Sales Results, Inc’s Business Development efforts and Client Services.

Prior to joining Sales Results, Inc, Bill served as President & Managing Partner of Shapcott, Palmer & Hill, LLC, an operational management consulting firm, where he oversaw the strategic and tactical sales performance initiatives of the firm in both the Chicago and Milwaukee markets. Shapcott also served as Managing Director of Business Development for Strategic Business Partners spearheading corporate/business development efforts for a progressive business services firm from start-up to 80 employees. Broad scope accountability included sales processes, market planning, business development, marketing, CRM, training of personnel, hiring, and full supervision of 20 sales reps and two direct reports. Mr. Shapcott was also a Sales Director (Senex) for a $250 million management consulting firm in Chicago and managed a field of 50 sales reps with four direct reports for the Southwest division of the firm. He began his sales career within the telecommunication industry in Canada. Previous to Mr. Shapcott’s twenty plus years as a professional sales management executive, he worked in the oil and gas industry drilling for oil and natural gas in Northern Alberta and in the Canadian Arctic.

Shapcott attended the University of Alberta where he studied Psychology and Computer Science. Mr. Shapcott has been married for over 25 years and has six children and resides in Lake Villa, IL. He is an avid golfer and currently holds a 2.4 index from the Chicago District Golf Association.
